When/Where is The River Run?
Saturday, May 6th, 2017. Run is scheduled for 7am (CDT) gun time. Starting in Henderson, KY and finishing in Evansville, IN.

What is the distance of The River Run?
The 2017 event will offer 3 options: 10-mile (starting on Henderson riverfront), 12K (starting at Audubon Chrysler), and Half Marathon (starting on Henderson riverfront).

Where can I get a paper entry form?
Sorry, paper entry forms are not be offered at this time.

Why didn’t I get a registration confirmation? Why didn’t you answer my email?
It was probably rejected by your work/school email filters or is sitting your spam folder. Be sure to add,,, and to your safe senders list to ensure proper email delivery. Using a personal email address to register is often better than the more restrictive employer supplied email.

Will there be transportation to the starting line?
Yes, buses will be shuttling athletes from both Henderson and Evansville. (See Race Day Info)

Can I walk The River Run?
Yes. But all participants must maintain a minimum pace in order to re-open Highway 41 and the bridge to traffic a timely manner. No one will be allowed to enter the bridge ramp after 9:15am.

Can I run with a stroller?
Yes. Just be aware that you will be running on many different surfaces, including highway concrete and large bridge metal surface joints that may be more challenging than the streets you’re accustomed to.

Can I run with earbuds/MP3 player?
Yes. But please be aware of your surroundings and follow the instructions of law enforcement personnel. This is especially important in the bridge section of the course.

Will there be finisher medals?
Yes. In addition to awards for all the top finishers, medals will be presented to each athlete that finishes River Run course.

Where/when in packet pickup?
Packet pickup will occur Friday, May 5th at the Evansville DoubleTree Hotel Fit. Sorry, there is NO race day packet pickup. (See Race Day Info)

Can I volunteer to help on race weekend?
Yes! We will need lots of energetic and hard-working volunteers to help during the race weekend on both the Evansville and Henderson sides of the river. Please send an email to and let us know how you are able to assist.
